My Thoughts on Easter Sunday

Last year I got to watch a lot of the Major League baseball games. I saw how every game was mostly the same. Two teams would play and there would be one winner. That was fine. But when I saw the World Series, I was so shocked. I had never seen a better baseball game in my life. People who don’t even enjoy baseball would watch the championship just because of how amazing it is.  The stadium was so loud that you couldn’t hear yourself screaming if you were in it! There would be little 7 year old kids singing the national anthem, the set up of the stadium was incredible, and the fans loved it.

I feel the church a lot of times is always the same, and people don’t come on a regular basis just because it’s the same thing all the time. And when it comes to Easter Sunday, non-Christians will come just because it’s Easter Sunday, and if we don’t make the church a fun place to stay, they will never come back. I really like what this church, NewSpring, did on their Easter service.
