The Deep Ends

Last night my family and I went to a friend’s house for dinner. Before we ate, all of us kids decided to take a swim. There was a little 7 year-old girl by the name of Rebbecca who was swimming in the pool. Even though she had her floaties on, she was not allowed to swim at all in the deep end. She was so determined not to go in the deep end that she didn’t even go near it even when she was outside of the water. She knew that if she were to get even near the deep end outside the pool, it would just create a bigger chance for her to fall in.

I feel that there are many “deep ends” in all of our lives that we’re not suppose to be near. We might feel that if we’re not in sin, but we’re near it that it won’t hurt us. Be careful. Getting near sin, but not being in sin creates a bigger chance to fall into sin.

Mitchell and I

So I’m now here with my brother, and my parents in the Charlotte airport. Our plane leaves tomorrow, and they’re giving us a free stay at a hotel. We’re going to go explore Charlotte, and then take off to Lexington tomorrow.
