Molding Candles

Today when I came home from school, I looked at a candle that was sitting on the coffee table. I saw how the candle was lob sided and it wasn’t straight and that was because I had molded it when it was lit and when it was hot. I tried molding it a different way today, but it wouldn’t work because it wasn’t hot, and when I tried, it could easily brake. In order for me to shape the candle in any way, the wick had to be on fire.

I feel our lives apply in the same way. When we’re dried out from God, and were not focusing on Him, we aren’t going to be easily molded by Him. We must be on fire for God so that it is easier for us to be molded by Him. We can be molded so much easier when we are focused on Him. It hurts us when we are trying to be molded by God when we are dried out from him, but when we are lit, we adapt way more easier for what He wants us to be.
